On 17th May, 1969 at Lodge Liverpool Plains No 191 (Quirindi), Graeme was initiated into Freemasonry as a Lewis.

Over the years, Graeme affiliated with many Lodges due to work commitments. In 1979, Graeme affiliated with Lodge Saratoga No 937 (Gosford) and in 1988, affiliated with Lodge Canoblas No 498 (Orange) where he became the Worshipful Master later that year and served a term as the District’s Education Officer. In 1992, Graeme affiliated with Lodge Oxley No. 225 (Nyngan) and served as their Treasurer. On returning to Gosford in 2002, Graeme re-affiliated with Lodge Saratoga No 937 where he served as their Worshipful Master from 2008 – 2010. Graeme has just completed his term as DGIW (2014 – 2016) for District 21.

In 2006, Graeme was awarded the Grand Master’s Distinguished Service Award (silver) and was conferred with PDGDC in March 2013.

South and Central Sydney - South of Parramatta river to Nowra

RW Bro Brian Willis was initiated into Lodge Bulli on Friday 28th June 1963, making a 50 year Freemason. He was elevated to PJGW at the December Communications in 2012.

He was installed into the Chair for the first time in the Leisure Coast Daylight in November 1991, since then has been installed into the Chair of Lodge Bulli No 319, Theo Grey No 234 & Lodge Bulli Thirroul No 1040 for a total of 11 terms in all.

It was the DGIW in 2006-2008 and following this took on the Masonicare District Rep for a number of years then the Regional Rep and finally becoming the RMM in September 2013. During this time have handed over to many Charities an amount exceeding $250,000, which has had to be matched by the Lodges and the Ladies Organisations, so that he can present this amount of money to Charity.

He is not only a member of 4 Craft Lodges, he is also a 320 Mason in the Ancient & accepted Scottish Rite and have been in the Chair several times in the 180 and once in the 300, currently the District Recorder and have been for 10 years. RW Bro Brian Willis is also a Royal Arch Mason and currently the First Principal of The City of Wollongong Mark & Royal Chapter No.79, also a member of the Knights Templar’s and have been in the Chair of this Order, a member of the Secret Monitor and have been Installed into the Chair of this Order as well, Preceptor of the Lodge of Instruction in Wollongong for some 8 years and DeMolay and have been awarded the highest Honour of The Legion of Honour.

RW Bro Brian Willis has been involved in many other Community committees helping the people of Wollongong.
