Masonicare Charity Jewels are an initiative which provides all Lodges with an opportunity to recognise, reward and thank Brethren for their charitable efforts within the community and their continued contribution to Freemasonry generally.
If a Lodge feels one of its members is worthy of this honour, then one of these beautifully produced jewels would provide the ideal form of recognition that the Lodge values their dedication. The Lodge may also provide a jewel if it agrees to do so on a recommendation from another Lodge member or individual.
For those presented with a Charity Jewel, it signifies they are held in the highest esteem by their fellow Brethren and their Lodge. The jewels may be worn in the Lodge room as part of the Masonic regalia and are to be worn on the left breast so as to be close to the heart of the wearer.
It is a great achievement to be the recipient of a Masonicare Charity Jewel as it highlights the commitment to charity and the Craft.
