young achievers

The Young Achiever program aims to encourage young people to be actively involved in their local communities. The initiative offers a $2,000 award to Young Achievers in each Masonic Region in NSW and ACT, which are nominated by local Freemasons. Nominations are made to the Regional Grand Counsellor (local Masonic leader) who will then refer the most deserving applicant to masoniCare to be approved.

The program's defining requirement is that applicants have made significant contributions to their communities, ideally in a leadership role. Thirteen Young Achievers are selected each year.
