Country Halls 2011 in association with OPERAworks and EVENTions invite you to 'Murder' TARALGA to be held at the Community Centre, Orchard Street, Taralga (opposite Taralga Country Store/Tourist Information Centre) on Sunday, 1st May at 2.00pm (duration one and a half hours and an interval) A light classical musical CONCERT featuring WILLIAM AMER, Tenor William, an Anglo-Aussie tenor will attempt to “murder” a few songs in the TARALGA COMMUNITY CENTRE, BUT if there are any witnesses he will revert to form and do his very best and sing songs from his repertoire of opera, operetta, musical comedy, oratorio, art songs, G&S and nostalgia to divert attention from the 'crime'. William has sung with the Australian Opera in Lohengrin and Simon Boccanegra. Other roles elsewhere, have been, Rudolfo, Tamino, The Impresario, to name a few. He has toured NSW with other opera and performing companies to music clubs, arts councils and local government functions. In 1993, William established OPERAworks and continues to perform in country NSW and Sydney. Nowadays, he is known as Australia’s Own Bush Tenor and The Original Song and Gram Man.
