Order raises money

Triple Care Farm will get a new library thanks to Kiama members of the Order of the Amaranth, who got together with Freemasons charity masoniCare to donate $5000 to the Mission Australia program, based in Robertson. Kiama Royal Matron Dulcie Piper and Royal Patron Noel Creighton presented Triple Care Farm service manager Patron Noel Creighton presented Triple Care Farm service manager Gabriella Holmes with a $3500 cheque over afternoon tea at the Masonic Hall on August 19, and very worshipful brother Brian Willis contributed an extra $1500 on behalf of masoniCare. Ms Holmes said the money would go towards the farm's new Amaranth Library. Ms Holmes said Triple Care Farm has helped young people overcome drug and alcohol problems since 1989.
