DSC00398RW Bro Greg Redfern ( Chairman of masoniCare) and Evelyn Elsted ( Marketing Officer – masoniCare)  travelled to Brisbane to present the Flood Victims Appeal cheque directly to the CEO of the Hannah Foundation, Andrew Plint, on 13th May. They met with Andrew and his wife,  Katherine , both of whom do amazing work with flood victims in the Lockyer valley and surrounding areas, for which they are to be highly commended.

Greg and Evelyn also went to the Lockyer Valley to observe first hand the effects which the floods have caused and to meet with some of the recipients to whom masoniCare’s Appeal funds will go directly towards helping.

“It was distressing to see people and communities still struggling to get back on their feet from the January floods and heartbreaking to speak with some people who have lost everything from their homes, their farms and their businesses - everything gone.” said Chairman of masoniCare - RW Bro Greg Redfern. floodThanks to the great generosity of Brethren and families, it is rewarding to know that The Flood Victims Appeal funds have gone directly to assist these families who need it most. The Hannah Foundation has already provided families with - hot water systems, winter clothing, food vouchers, furniture, fridges, washing machines and much more, all thanks to masoniCare’s Flood Victims Appeal Funds . We would like to again sincerely thank everybody who contributed to this worthy Appeal for your kind generosity.
