PRESENTATION TO OXLEY COMMUNITY TRANSPORT

On Wednesday, 22nd June, 2011, a presentation of $4,000 was made to Oxley Community Transport.  This donation was made possible due to money raised by Lodge Calala Tamworth No 652 and The Peel Lodge No 209 at regular Saturday Harvey Norman BBQs. The $2,000 raised was matched by a dollar for dollar grant from masoniCare. The money will go towards the training of volunteers to help in the transport of elderly people in the Tamworth community to medical appointments, trips away for enjoyment, shopping trips etc.
