Hunter Connect Presentation
Wednesday, 24 April 2013 14:13

031The newly opened Stockton office for Hunter Connect received a much needed helping hand on 11th of April when they were presented with a cheque for $5750 from Masonicare.

Hunter Connect deals with a range of issues, supporting and connecting families impacted by Autism, Asperger, ADHD and related Development Disorders and the role of agencies such as these in our local communities are important ones.

The program is facing some funding challenges; the Masons contribution fills some of the shortfall.

There are only 14 trained facilitators in NSW for the SAS program, with local Hunter Connect Development Clinician Rachel Corrigan (pictured right centre) being one of them.

Rachel acknowledged that the program would not have been possible without the assistance of Port Waratah Coal Services the Freemasons and Stockton Public School.
