The Park Project has now been completed and the residents of Cottage Homes and the general public can now enjoy the use of this facility to enjoy the sunshine and fresh air. A further $3,000 was presented to the Tamworth Regional Council towards the cost of the Gazebo.

Flood Victims Appeal - The Hannah Foundation

DSC00398RW Bro Greg Redfern ( Chairman of masoniCare) and Evelyn Elsted ( Marketing Officer – masoniCare)  travelled to Brisbane to present the Flood Victims Appeal cheque directly to the CEO of the Hannah Foundation, Andrew Plint, on 13th May. They met with Andrew and his wife,  Katherine , both of whom do amazing work with flood victims in the Lockyer valley and surrounding areas, for which they are to be highly commended.

PRESENTATION TO OXLEY COMMUNITY TRANSPORT

Oxley_Presentation_220611On Wednesday, 22nd June, 2011, a presentation of $4,000 was made to Oxley Community Transport.  This donation was made possible due to money raised by Lodge Calala Tamworth No 652 and The Peel Lodge No 209 at regular Saturday Harvey Norman BBQs. The $2,000 raised was matched by a dollar for dollar grant from masoniCare. The money will go towards the training of volunteers to help in the transport of elderly people in the Tamworth community to medical appointments, trips away for enjoyment, shopping trips etc.
